Horizontal shell and tube chillers are for any brine or water cooling application with Ammonia.

These chillers are available from 12 to 48 inches in diameter with tube length to 18 feet. Multiple bonnets are designed for 2 thru 10 liquid passes to provide maximum selection flexibility.   2. Cooling coils made of stainless steel/ spray galvanized tubes & die formed plate type aluminium fins with excellent bonding between them gives efficent heat transfer & durability.
  3. Aluminium fins ensure rapid heat absorption from air. The staggered tube construction increases air turbulence at the coil to incraese efficency.
  4. High quality powder coated GI sheet or SS casing with heavy duty outer frame.
  5. Low noise Axial flow fans made up of aluminium/ FRp alloy blades for higher static pressure/ air throw.
  6. Weather proof TEFC type fan motors with IP55 enclosure having pre-lubricated bearings with low temperature grease.
  7. Accumulator (surge drum) to protect liquid stroke to compressor.
  8. Optional double circulation of refrigerant resulting in fast cooling and high efficiency.
  9. Arrangement for both ceiling suspension and floor mounting on every coil as standard.
  10. Water defrosting headers.
  11. Optional Defrosting heaters/Hot gas arrangement for fast defrosting of coils in case of low temperature application.
  12. Optional heater for drain pan or insulation in case of low temperature application.
  13. Heavy duty galvanised /stainless steel drain pan with sloped end for fast water drainage, All coils can be circulated for flooded system, liquid recirculation, brine circulation & chilled water.
  14. Longer life through appropriate material selection and robust construction.

Ammonia Diffusers are suitable for Cold Storage, Meat Storage, Blast Freezers, Freezing Plants and many other industries where cooling is required. These diffusers are manufactured in four different sizes/ capacities. Each Ammonia diffuser is made of three sections:

Trunk type V shaped coils are made of 32 NB (1-1/4″) M.S.ERW heavy class pipes with suitable headers at top and bottom. These are used for ice freezing in block ice plants. Coils are tested at 31 Kg./cm2 (450 psi) after fabrication coils are supplied in Red oxide primer finish.

RANGE :

  1. Coils are made for capacities varying form 3 tons/day ice plant to 100 tons/day ice plant.

Ice Bank Coils are evaporator coils made of pipes and dipped in a tank containing water. Ice is made and stored on the coil and used as and when required. The ice can be made at non-peak hours and can be utilized as and when required.

Ice Bank Coils are made of Heavy Duty pipes mostly of 32mm (1-1/4″) NB. The coils are fabricated  with minimum welding. They are supported with heavy duty angle Iron stands, Pressure tested at a pressure of 31 kg/cm2 (450psi) hydraulically.

Semi welded PHEs are an optimum solution in applications where gaskets are not compatible with one of the media. Our semi-welded PHEs are assembled with laser welded modules. These are very useful for applications such as:

Semi-welded PHEs overcome this limitation! These are as flexible as gasketed heat exchangers while enhancing the application range for PHEs for use with aggressive fluids and gases, such as ammonia or aggressive process chemicals where suitable elastomers are not available to act as a sealant between the plates. In the case of ammonia refrigeration, the reduced volume results in significant savings. 

This type of heat exchanger uses a unique approach. Alternating channels are laser welded. Aggressive media (for example Ammonia) flows in the welded channels. Non-aggressive media (like brine or water) passes through gasketed channels. Despite partial welded construction, the unit can easily be disassembled to replace gaskets or to take care of other maintenance. Like all our products, they are also highly efficient, reliable, and easy to operate and maintain.

The Spiral Finned Tubes that are available on the external surface of the bare tube to increase its surface area are called fins. Spiral Finned Tubes help better transfer of heat between the outside and inside of tube. With the usage of these tubes having surface area almost eight times of the outer tube, the length of the tube required to heat the viscous oil can be reduced by one sixth.
